Extent difference
- Management is exacting the discharge of policies
- Administration is exacting the assurence of primary policies and objectives.
Work place
- Management is a low and mid ranked function
- It works for the low, médium and top levels organizational needs of an enterprise
- But the Administration is a high ranked function.
- It entirely manages the management activities and demands of a comapny with proper planning and organizational resources.
Authority
- Decisions of the Management are controlled by the goals and policies
- Administrative decisions are controlled by a common belief and other forces, they also focus on MBO (Management of Objectives)
- Management mainly has control over business concerns.
- Administration has control over the goverment or national sectors
Changing Factors
- The Management style o fan organization also can be changed. With the removal or employement of a new manager or leader.
- Where the Administrative procedures or policies are slower to change or, may remain in the place for many generations of Mangement
Difference by Focusing Area
- The Management focuses to implent new ideas through research and innovative resources to achieve the organization’s target.
- The Adminsitration o fan organization aims to fullfil all requirements to secure the highest objectivity for their businesses.

In conclusion, we can say that the terms administer and manage are generally used as terms that have the same meaning. However, the fundamental difference between administering and managing is that administering implies planning the actions that must be carried out to achieve the objectives. While managing is concretely putting into practice all the actions planned to achieve the objectives.
They’re complementary to each other: Administration is a process and Management is a step in it, without Administration, Management wouldn’t exist and whitout Management, Administration wouldn’t work effciently and fail.
